JESS EKSTROM (THAT’S ME)
became known for
”SPOTLIGHT VS. LIGHTHOUSE SPEAKING”
It's somewhere in what you've lived, learned, and practiced. It's probably something you say to friends all the time without realizing it's an idea that could turn into a paid talk, a podcast episode, a book.
Your idea is buried in everything else you know. That's what Bootcamp is for. You'll pick the one idea worth repeating, organize what you know into something clear enough to teach, and say it the same way every time until people start saying it back..
One idea. Said clearly. Said often. That's a framework.
And it's what you build everything else on.
Starts Friday, September 18
Friday, September 18 • 12pm–12:45pm EST
Monday, September 21 • 12pm–12:45pm EST
Tuesday, September 22 • 12pm–12:45pm EST
Wednesday, September 23 • 12pm–12:45pm EST
BONUS SESSION Thursday, September 24
BONUS MASTERCLASS Monday, September 28
I've spent years on stages and years helping other women get there. And I've watched thousands of smart, accomplished people teach confidence. Thousands teach resilience. Thousands teach leadership
The goal isn't to be the best one talking about your topic.
It’s to be the only one people think of when they hear your unforgettable idea.
And that’s why you need a framework.

Mine is spotlight vs. lighthouse. Three words. It turned into a TEDx talk with over 1.8 million views. And it's the thing that gets repeated now.
But here's what matters most. It's not the number of views. It's what happens after someone hears your framework and says,
“I’ve never heard it put that way. I needed that today.”
That's what you're actually after. To say something that lands so hard someone carries it home with them.
And then it gets repeated. By the person who heard it. By the person who booked you. Soon the next event planner hears your name before you ever send a pitch. That's what highly requested looks like.
That life is real. I've helped thousands of women build it.

You have ten ideas and no answer to “what do you speak about?”
Starting anything – a talk, a post, a pitch – means starting from a blank page.
People tell you your story is amazing, then can’t repeat what it was about.
You’re introduced by your job title, not your idea.
You sound like everyone else talking about your topic.
Your message pulls in a different direction every time you share it.

You have one answer you’re proud of
Everything you create builds from the same core
People repeat your idea back to you
Your name is attached to an idea people remember
You’re the only person people think of for your idea
Your talks, content, and offers all feed one framework

This bootcamp is what makes you un-interchangeable. It takes what's inside your head and turns it into something people can repeat, share, and attach to your name.
That's exactly what these 4 days are for.

Day 4

BONUS SESSION

BONUS MASTERCLASS
You can't be everything to everyone, and if people need more than three seconds to figure out how you help them, they'll move on. Day 1 is about getting clear on the before-and-after your idea creates: what people think, feel, and do differently because of you. You'll fill in the sentence every known name can finish: "After people hear me, they will ___." By the end of Day 1, you'll have your Transformation Promise, the one thing you want to be known for.
Your Transformation Promise is where you're taking people. Day 2 is about what they need to believe to get there. You'll work through five questions (what do they need to understand, believe, do, know, and feel?), pull out the central theme, and lock in your Core Belief: "If someone can understand ___, then they can ___." By the end of Day 2, you'll know the one belief your whole idea rests on.
Now that you have the transformation and the belief, it's time to build the container. You'll see the six ways big ideas get taught (the Rule, the Analogy, the Mantra, the Shift, the Method, and the Reframe) with examples from Mel Robbins, Glennon Doyle, and StoryBrand, and figure out which one fits your idea and how you naturally teach. By the end of Day 3, you'll have the shape of your signature framework.
Ideas spread because they have names. You'll break down why "Good Inside," "5 Second Rule," and "Atomic Habits" stick, then run your own through three tests: Can someone remember it tomorrow? Can they tell a friend? Can they picture it immediately? By the end of Day 4, you'll have an ownable title and a framework you can carry into content, a workshop, a podcast, a book, a keynote, or a TEDx talk.

The most memorable way to teach it

“I was stopping myself from getting started due to the perceived time needed to succeed. This gave me the tactical tools where it felt approachable within my time constraints of working full time.”
– KATIE
“I am so excited for the next stretch! I seriously meant it when I said I have received more value from your boot camp than I did from... one of the least informative seminars I have ever attended.”
– DAWN
“this is one of these only workshops I have been to where each day has provided new content and ultimately will have a completed framework!”
– MELISSA
MIC DROP only works with women, on purpose.
Not because men don't need this, but because I saw the pattern.
You can see it on stage, where fewer than a third of conference speakers are women.* You can see it everywhere else too.
Women do the work, live the lesson, and give the advice for free, and someone else ends up known for it.
I've been the only woman in plenty of lineups. Every time, someone found me afterward to say they had something to say too. They just didn't know where to start. Not one of them was short on expertise. They were short on a name for what they knew.
So I built the room I wished existed.

Each training is live from 12:00 to 12:45 PM ET. Four sessions total: September 18, 21 - 23 and bonus sessions September 24th and 28th
You'll get the replays. Watch on your own time and catch up before the next session. That said, show up live if you can. The feedback and the energy are half the value.
Yes. Jess teaches every session live, in real time.
Yes. That's the point of doing this live, and it's what the community is for. Ask questions, share your work, get feedback between sessions.
The community is hosted in a private Facebook group. You can still attend every live session and use the replays without it, but the feedback and connection happen in the group, so we'd encourage a temporary account even if you're not a Facebook person.
This is the only bootcamp scheduled right now, and replays are included if you can't make every session live. Join this round if you can.
If by the end of Day 1 you don't feel like it's way more valuable than what you paid, email us before then ends and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked.
